TyPoints is a “reward by points” program being tested by SpeakWrite to incentivize top-preforming typists. SpeakWrite holds the right to cancel this trial reward program at any time.
1 point will be awarded to each typist per every 1,000 typed and/or proofed words.
For now, we will use a Floor calculation, meaning that points will be rounded down to the nearest integer.
Example: You have typed 1,500 words and proofed 499 words this quarter for a total of 1,999 words. Your points will reflect 1 point, until you cross the 2,000 words mark.
All typists will start earning points for words typed or proofed submitted on or after July 1st, 2021.
Points will be accumulated on a per quarter basis and will reset to 0 at the start of each quarter. (January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, October 1st)
Points will not accumulate or roll over quarters.

In the first week following the start of each quarter, (Week of January 1st, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st), SpeakWrite management will add the reward amount you have earned to your next paycheck.
